JSP Freelance camera opp Trey Keene with VP of Operations Phil Santucci

Hi Everyone!

It’s been awhile since our last post and that is because we have been busier than ever! That is a good thing!
As many of you may know, everyone here at JSP Broadcast Inc. are big time skiers and snowboarders. We thought
why not grab some of our gear every once in a while during the ski season and make a couple of JSP winter ski
and snowboard movies. We are super excited to get up to the mountains and start capturing some great skiing and
snowboarding from the staff and many JSP friends. Not only will this be a ton of fun for everyone here, but it will also serve as some training for many of the on-mountain productions that we often have! Last year we covered the Colorado Free-Ride championships which is held at Snowmass Village, CO and is host to some of the most difficult terrain in the Rocky Mountains. Now if competing in the field isn’t tough enough for you, than imagine having to get to the same lines with pounds of gear on your back and the chance of one spill literally costing THOUSANDS of dollars in equipment! HAHAHA! Needles to say we need our winter videoagraphers to be great skiers and be able to maneuver around some of the toughest mountains around. Last winter we were also on location at Vail, CO filming a commercial and Web DVD for Quickpoles. Last winter Quickpoles released a revolutionary ski pole design which allows you to carry both of your poles and skis in one hand. Check out Quickpoles.com to see the poles in action!

In this winter’s JSP ski movie we will cover a lot of great skiing from JSP staff members and many JSP friends who
happen to come along with us. This will be a great gift and tribute video to my father John “Sandy” Santucci who
founded our company over 25 years ago after a professional ski career and spending 2 seasons in Europe covering the World Cup Ski Tour for ESPN. Obviously, skiing is a pretty big deal for us here at JSP, not just because John was an ex pro, but because we all love it!

Stay tuned for clips and promos of the movie throughout the winter! Get that snow a pourin!

Online Advertising

The Colorado Freeride is in post-production as we speak and will be airing this fall!

Hey Everyone!

There is so much advertising that can be done for a company that a lot of people fail to think about. Here at JSP Broadcast Inc. we are constantly finding new and exciting ways to reach our new potential clients. Online, print, media, etc.. YOU NAME IT! We all know there are thousands of types of advertising models and methods out there today. Which ones work, which ones don’t? There are positives and negatives about most methods when you get down to it. The best practice that we have been utilizing here at JSP is advertising that we know we can track and obtain results from. If you are able to monitor the success or failure of your advertising, at least you know which advertising ventures are worth your time and most importantly, your investment!

We have the luxury of being a TV production company of course so we choose to do a lot of on-line marketing with interactive media and established videos that we post to our own site, YouTube, and various other online media agencies. This is a great way to show our work to the public while at the same time putting our name out there as well. We are constantly adding more and more content to our YouTube page every week. There is nothing better than new fresh content to post to the public to show them your current work-flow. The goal here is viewership and quality content! It’s a very basic and easy formula, but the better the content assets the better the viewership will be! Make sure you aren’t just posting up random videos on YouTube just to get viewers or this will hurt you in the long run. Quality over Quantity folks! There is not point in having a 100 videos on your YouTube channel if each one only has 5-10 views. The main goal is to have videos with content that you know people will like!

Our best practice here at JSP is putting our trailers for upcoming shows on our YouTube page so we can give our clients and fans the opportunity to get a look at one of our upcoming programs. We want to make sure that the public is aware of what we are doing while at the same time stirring interest about our upcoming projects.

I guess my main point here is QUALITY wins every time when it comes to media advertising. The better image you can portray the better overall company image you will have (YOU HAVE TO BACK IT UP OF COURSE!!). I hope this was informative and interesting for you, but these are just a couple of methods that have been working well for the JSP team! Thanks for taking the time to read another JSP Broadcast Inc. blog, keep checking back!

Hey Everyone,

I read a great article today about marketing within your company no matter the success or size of the business. This article all though I thought it was the same old thing initially, actually had some very good, informative, and useful tactics and ideas that JSP and myself personally should definitely use far more often.

“launch”, That is the word that is associated with the style and attitude of this particular marketing strategy. The main point that I took from the article is that the customer no matter what field or industry that you are in is the most important and influential aspect to a successful business. Now I know that must seem extremely obvious, but do you yourself or does your company truly put that practice to work???

It’s not the same old meaning that the customer is always right because they often aren’t, but it takes another angle and says that the customer needs to be shown the right way, pointed in the right direction, and given true honest advice that only has the customers best interest in mind. If you approach every venture in life and in business with communication, trust, honesty, and truly care about what you are doing than it will reflect in your work, attitude, and most importantly your mind. It is our job as a business to help “LAUNCH” our customers goals and ideas and bring them to reality!

With all of the above being said, it all boils down to this. You know what the right thing to do is in your mind, and there is no point to take your current or potential customers on a different path at all for a quick extra buck. Do the RIGHT thing for each and every client, person, friend, family member, etc.. and I truly believe that the right things will happen back to you in return. If you show them the right and honest way right from the back than they will always have a added trust with you or your company that will always keep them coming back.

HotStockFootage.com will be at NAB 2011 April 11-14 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Come say hi and check out the booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center. We will be displaying our new website, meeting with clients, and spreading the word about the massive stock footage library that we are unavailing at the show. We are excited to get the show started, so if you are in town please come see us! Booth # SU2038

JSP was on location at Vail Mountain in early January to capture Quickpoles in action. The demo video can be seen on www.quickpoles.com and at the annual SIA ski show that is held in Denver Jan. 27-30th. Quickpoles will have a great booth set up including demos, handouts, and of course our Video!! Also, the attached YouTube link gives you a great look at the video!

Just the latest on mountain excursion for the crew of JSP to encounter!

Well it’s been another busy trip for Team JSP and the World Series of Boxing. We are currently in Memphis, TN for the last leg on our second round of trips. This trip again has been highlighted by great competitors in Miami and LA! Who would have thought, but Lou Ferrigno and Jenny McCarthy made it to the show in LA!!!  The HULK seemed to be very impressed with the fights on hand. With 6 shows under our belts the shows keep running smoother and smoother. You can catch all the action on Versus. The next show will be airing Saturday at 2:00pm est! Stay tuned for more updates and a look into a new ski product that is going to blow you away!

After a long and grueling production trip, the JSP team is back in Denver after the first three shows of the 2010 World Series of Boxing. The first American event kicked off in Miami at the American Airlines Arena and was a great success. A night of GREAT FIGHTS, GREAT CROUDS, AND GREAT COVERAGE highlighted the first show in Miami. After Miami the entire crew traveled to Memphis, Tennessee for the first show in Memphis. Again, the fights were filled with non-stop action and great fighters. The last stop on the first round was L.A. and the Nokia Theatre where the LA Matadors call home. With the best crowd so far on the tour L.A. was a great end to our long and busy trip. JSP will be back on the road for Round 2 starting in Miami on December 9th! Stay tuned for more exciting info!

JSP has been in collaboration with IMG and the Wold Series of Boxing to fully cover a 18 show boxing series that will be aired on the Versus Network. There are three different teams that will be competing in the WSB including the Miami Gallos, Memphis Force, and the LA Matadors. The first competition will be between host team Miami Gallos and the visiting LA Matadors. With the first fights tonight JSP has assembled a crew of over 30, fully equipped with full production trucks, live feeds, and some of the greatest announcers in the business.
