Hi Everyone!
It’s been awhile since our last post and that is because we have been busier than ever! That is a good thing!
As many of you may know, everyone here at JSP Broadcast Inc. are big time skiers and snowboarders. We thought
why not grab some of our gear every once in a while during the ski season and make a couple of JSP winter ski
and snowboard movies. We are super excited to get up to the mountains and start capturing some great skiing and
snowboarding from the staff and many JSP friends. Not only will this be a ton of fun for everyone here, but it will also serve as some training for many of the on-mountain productions that we often have! Last year we covered the Colorado Free-Ride championships which is held at Snowmass Village, CO and is host to some of the most difficult terrain in the Rocky Mountains. Now if competing in the field isn’t tough enough for you, than imagine having to get to the same lines with pounds of gear on your back and the chance of one spill literally costing THOUSANDS of dollars in equipment! HAHAHA! Needles to say we need our winter videoagraphers to be great skiers and be able to maneuver around some of the toughest mountains around. Last winter we were also on location at Vail, CO filming a commercial and Web DVD for Quickpoles. Last winter Quickpoles released a revolutionary ski pole design which allows you to carry both of your poles and skis in one hand. Check out Quickpoles.com to see the poles in action!
In this winter’s JSP ski movie we will cover a lot of great skiing from JSP staff members and many JSP friends who
happen to come along with us. This will be a great gift and tribute video to my father John “Sandy” Santucci who
founded our company over 25 years ago after a professional ski career and spending 2 seasons in Europe covering the World Cup Ski Tour for ESPN. Obviously, skiing is a pretty big deal for us here at JSP, not just because John was an ex pro, but because we all love it!
Stay tuned for clips and promos of the movie throughout the winter! Get that snow a pourin!
